Position:Red Hat Enterprise Linux Engineer Location:New York,NY Duration:6+months * *Minimum Requirements: 8+ years overall with at least 4+ years as Red Hat Enterprise Linux ENGINEER (not looking for Admins or general Solaris/HP-UX/AIX/Linux types) Experience architecting new systems and storage, performance tuning and security Strong preference for Cisco Certified Network Administrator (CCNA) - Storage Area Network (SAN) experience Strong preference for Red Hat Certified Engineer Description: This resource will work on all compliance-related initiatives for systems engineering and will also act as an additional senior resource to the team. There are 700 Linux production servers, and 200 windows servers, all of which need to be brought up to State Street security standards. This resource will participate in architecting new systems and storage, performance tuning, security and compliances, and leading other engineers.
