Position:WebSphere Developer Location: Dublin Ohio Duration: 6-12 months plus* *Description: We have an immediate contract need for a Senior WebSphere Message Broker Developer with our Columbus, OH client. The candidate will install application server software and create the necessary environments required by the system development life cycle. In addition, he or she will configure all environments to each application’s specific requirements (such as JDBC, JMS, web services, High Availability, Session Management, Security, Service Integration Bus, etc…). * *Specific Duties / Responsibilities: • Provide development support to the application development teams. • Design systems architecture including fault tolerance and high availability solutions. • Work with application project teams to provide feedback on designs and gather requirements for the application server environment. • Install the WebSphere Application Server software on Linux, Unix and Windows based environments. • Create and modify WebSphere clusters required to implement the different logical environments in the system development life cycle (dev, test, stage, prod). • Create and configure application instances within each of the cells as required. • Configure Security as required (SSL, single sign-on, administrative, application, etc…). • Configure the required web server (IIS, iPlanet, IHS) with the Application server software plug-in. • Configure the Application server software to each individual application’s requirements (Services Integration Bus – JMS / Web Services, JDBC, Security, etc…) • Set up the Application server software and each application to be highly available with the goal of 24x7 up-time. • Performance tune the Application server software so that it is optimized for each application. This will include working closely with the application development teams to administer load testing and monitoring. • Deploy applications to the Application server as well as define and set up automated application deployment mechanisms. • Provide development support to the application development teams. • Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation in support of Production systems • Research and troubleshoot problems related to the Application server software, the applications that run on them as well as the external systems that they interact with.* *Position Requirements: • BS in computer or related field. • 5 years experience with administering WebSphere Application Server 6.x / 7.0 • 2 years experience with WebSphere Commerce or Portal Server • At least 4+ years of experience in Websphere Message Broker (6.0, 6.1 and some experience on 7.0) • Websphere Message Broker Detailed Design and Development • Experience working with integrating with DBs, JMS based apps etc using WMB • Proficient in working with ESQL (some java is an added advantage) • Experience preferable working with SAP integrations. • Experience working with one or more of the WBI adapters (JDBC/JText/SAP MySAP) • Any WMB Migration experience would be an added advantage • Operating Systems: Linux, Windows 2003/2008, AIX • Web servers (IIS, iPlanet, IHS) • Websphere Message broker 6.0/6.1/7.0 development experience • WBI adapters (JDBC/JText) experience • Websphere MQ expertise • Experience integrating with SAP and DB2 based end systems • Experience with administering WebSphere Virtual Enterprise a plus • Experience with Process Server a plus. • Experience with WebSphere Sensor and Events (WSE) and WebSphere Business Events (WBE) a plus. • Experience with MQ, Message Broker a plus. • Experience with other JEE application servers a plus • JEE development skills a plus • CA Wily Introscope experience a plus* * Best Regards, Dan Hoffman-Technical Recruiter Panzersolutions LLC, daniel.hoff...@panzersolutions.com Gmail:hoffmandaniel784 Voice:203-769-6536 The Best way To reach me is Through E-Mail Notice of Confidentiality: The information contained herein is intended only for the confidential use of the recipient.
