*General Project Managers (6) Needed *Location: *Richmond, VA* Duration: *1 year contract* Rate: *$50 per/hr on w2 (MAX)* *Work Climate Details* Est Start Date: 12/12/2011 Est End Date: 12/14/2012 Work Environment: General Office Work Attire: Business Casual Daily Start Time: 08:00 AM Daily End Time: 05:00 PM *Description:* Lead delivery of complex initiatives managing governance structure; helping develop business case; managing integrated scope, schedule, budget, and quality; and overseeing work of project teams primarily from an operations perspective. Adhere to enterprise project management standard practices and documents. Ensure delivery of new and improved business capabilities on time, within budget and with high quality. Apply business acumen with clients to solve comprehensive business problems while recommending trade-offs between competing priorities, and influencing delivery planning. Experience with end-customer experience a plus. Effectively communicate and influence executive sponsor and stakeholder through verbal and written channels. Collaborate with portfolio offices, team members, other delivery organizations (e.g. IT PMs, when applicable, to monitor and manage the critical path, contingencies, scope changes, and budgets (both labor and non-labor resources). Identify, mitigate, and manage project and program issues and risks, help remove roadblocks while continuously seeking improvements within the organization. *Qualifications:* · Minimum bachelor's degree, Master’s degree preferred · 7 or more years of experience in the Financial Services Industry · 5-10 years of experience managing large programs · Expertise in leveraging different types of best practices and methodologies applied in project, portfolio and program management · Strong analytical and problem solving skills with a high attention to detail · Excellent communication and negotiation skills and abilities to provide information and influence to all levels of stakeholders · Program Management Professional certification preferred In order to apply for same, send me your updated resume along with 3 professional references and let me know the best time to reach you.
