*Web Software Developer* Location: *Boston, MA *Duration: *6 months* Rate: *$66 per/hr on c2c (all inclusive) MAX* *IN PERSON INTERVIEW IS A MUST!!!* *Description:* Senior Web Developer/ Technical Lead participate in the modernization of remaining mission critical business functions in *FamilyNet by migration of the said functions to i-FamilyNet application*. At the end of migration FamilyNet will be sunset. The migration strategy is to design, develop and implement these functions in i-FamiyNet. Current project team is a mix of employees and consultants. Selected individual will work with i-FamilyNet Project Manager and other team members to manage this important endeavor. The successful candidate will have solid Java programming experience, API framework development as well as hands-on development experience for highly scalable, multi-tier web systems. *Responsibilities:* o Provides leadership, guidance and participate for *JAVA/JEE* design and development of a high performance transaction processing system by defining and developing detailed technical designs from business requirements. o Guides the work of development team to ensure that implementation is done based on the detailed design o Function as a domain expert and works closely with software developers to explain the application design, and coordinates activities between the two functions to enhance product quality and efficiency. Conducts cost analysis to determine feasibility of approaches. o Oversee and develop test-plans development (including unit tests), integration and deployment o Troubleshoot, fix, and test issues/defects - resulting from either the change control process or production activities Skills o Provides on-going coaching, enabling team members to develop and improve skills and capabilities that support the effectiveness of the department/function. *Qualification:* o Excellent core *J2SE 6* programming ability o Object Oriented Design & Design Patterns o Strong analytical and problem solving skills o Essential Tools/ technologies & frameworks: *Eclipse, Java Server Faces, Facelets, Spring, Apache Trinidad* o Other Java community tools/frameworks such as *JBPM *o Application/Portal server: *Weblogic 10.x *o RDBMS:* Oracle 10g* o J2EE design patterns and web services o Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing, to interact effectively with internal and external audience and peers *Education:* • Bachelor's or Masters degree in Information Technology (IT), or related discipline.
