*Duration: 3 Month Contract*** *Local candidates preferred* *Interview Mode: Telephonic + In person ( For Locals ) / Telephonic + Skype for non locals* Complete Description: Client’s product has a contractual timeline to implement a new version of API to receive and process high volume of incoming GPS and DTC data from vehicles. Preferred candidate is expected to be a senior level Java developer with *minimum 8-10 years* working experience *in application development*. In order to meet the timeline to deliver the product, we would prefer the developer to have experience with software development expertise on interfacing with devices and processing data. Essential Responsibilities • Build scalable and highly available web applications using Java EE. • Writes domain specific services and DAO layer services. • Collaborates with Project , functional subject matter experts and IT Application Leaders to define and execute the Web application development. • Ensures company policies and guidelines are met. • Participates on Agile planning sessions and facilitates the estimation process. • Constantly execute unit tests of the code produced. • Constantly integrates code ensuring the overall product is cohesive and working. • Escalates coding, standards and architectural issues and ensures solutions are in alignment with the overall technology vision. • Supports integration process. • Participates in architecture and code reviews.
