Job Role: Senior Java Developer ( End to End ) ( Need someone with Extensive SQL experience )
*Location: NYC, NY* *Duration: 2 Years +* *Interview mode: Technical Interview on Phone and then an on-site interview* *DEPARTMENT: Information Systems * * * REPORTS TO: Director, Application Development ________________________________________________________________ OVERALL RESPONSIBILITIES: Design, develop, and maintain Client’s software applications, including functional analysis, technical design, coding, testing, implementation and documentation. Work closely with the Director of Application Development to create work estimates and project plans. Work with IS management to establish and implement application development policies and procedures. The position requires the ability to work effectively with many departments within Client to deliver high quality software solutions. *GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: * · Work with small team of java developers in the technical design and development of custom applications. · Participate in design sessions with Business Analysts and/or end users to define functional requirements and specifications. · Work with Business Analysts and DBA to develop logical and physical database designs. · Work with DBA in performance testing and tuning of custom applications. · Assist in the creation of work estimates and project plans. · Provide second tier support for production applications. * * *QUALIFICATIONS:* · Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or Computer Science preferred · Minimum of 5 years of object-oriented design and programming experience** · Java EE** · Struts, JSP** · Hibernate** · Eclipse2, ANT, CVS** · Familiarity with relational database design** · SQL programming · WebSphere -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Java Tech Group" group.
