Poi to use to read xls-Microsoft Office Excel 97-2003 & xlsx from same program

Hello,

I want to read files from a folder, few files in directory are in "Microsoft
Office Excel 97-2003" format & few are xlsx. Which poi should I use to be
able to read any file from same program?
