Hi Rampart/Axis2 Developers

I really beg you to read the article in the Linke below.

http://stackoverflow.com/questions/785652/wcf-interop-with-axis2-using-w
s-trust

We are trying to get WCF and Java talking to each other using SAML
tokens issued from an STS. Despite the fact that both sides are
compliant with the standards, WS-Security, WS-Trust, WS-Policy, etc.,
they don't seem to talk to each other and one or the other will throw
cryptic exceptions or ignore security headers. We are using .NET 3.5,
WCF Federation binding on the MS side, and Axis2/Rampart/Rahas on the
java side. Has anyone ever been able to make this work?

Answers given in the Link above

Axis2 is incomplete in terms of WS standards compliance. I recently (in
the last month) went through a POC phase where Axis2 failed my WS-*
compliance tests (specifically WS-AT, WS-Coordination). Have a look at
"Project Metro". Sun and Microsoft collaborated on getting WCF and
JAX-WS interop "right". https://metro.dev.java.net/

and some other 4 answers are given as well ... maybe worth to read by
Axis2/Rampart developers.

AND maybe a voice from the Rampart Camp can bring a bit light into that.

It does not help a lot if one claims that they have run interop test
without giving a bit insigth how they did it;

BUT

It would help a lot if we can enhance the rampart documents with
client/service code samples both for WCF clients talking to the
Axis2/Rampart service examples 0 to 8 and Axis2/Rampart clients-samples
0 to 8 talking to a WCF service implementations.

Josef
- I have Axis2/Rampart policy sample client.03 on Windows Vista talking
to Axis2/Rampart policy service sample.03 on OpenVMS (no issues)
- now I like to have a WCF Client sample doing the same. Any hints
welcome for WCF . . .
