I'm not able to see the boost applied even with an additional term added.
The original query:
+(JOB_TITLE:"java developer"^15.0 TEXT:"java developer") +LANGUAGE:EN
+GATEWAY:work
Modified to:
+(JOB_TITLE:"java developer"^15.0 JOB_TITLE:java TEXT:"java developer")
+LANGUAGE:EN +GATEWAY:work
Produces:

I just tested and able to see "product of: 10.0 = boost" in explanations.
However I added a new term to the query: "java developer"^10.0 java
It seems that the queries alone "java developer"^10.0 and "java developer" are
virtually equal without any other terms.
