No and no. MultiFieldQueryParser is the only thing that comes to mind as being remotely close but you have to tell it the field names. I guess you could use IndexReader.getFieldNames(...) to find indexed fields and pass the output from that through a wildcard regexp and feed the output from that into MultiFieldQueryParser. Good luck. I always prefer to use a "contents" field that holds all searchable data.
