Thanks for the heads-up about this problem.

There are ASF Jenkins jobs that regularly build those snapshots - see the jobs 
with “Maven” in their names here: 
<https://builds.apache.org/view/L/view/Lucene/>.

I’ll look into the cause of the long lags and report back.
