Hi Jon,

Jimi will do exactly what you want in Java 1.1.x, Java 1.2, Personal Java,
and other Java environments. Jimi is an imaging toolkit that is both
powerful AND simple. Please take a look at the
examples\CodeExamples\AnimationOptions directory in the Jimi download and
you will find an example that uses Jimi to decode a GIF and access frames
and delays.

First download Jimi at:
http://www.activated.com/downloads/jimi2.0-latest.zip

Then request your FREE evaluation key at:
http://www.activated.com/products/jimi/jimieval/index.html

If you would like to look at the License before download, see:
http://www.activated.com/products/jimi/license.html

With Jimi you'll easily be able to read, view and write PNG, JPG, TIFF (no
write), BMP, PSD, PICT, Sun Raster, Targa, and more. Please let me know off
list if you have any questions <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>.

Best regards,

Michael Sick
