I am working on Java Servlets, i want to provide field help to the user. i.e., pick list. Just beside the field i will be placing an icon, if the user clicks on that icon, the relavant data has be retrieved from the database & has to be displayed to the user in a list box/Combo box & once the user selects something from the list, the selected item has be to displayed onto the relavant field on the form. can someone suggest me how i should go about in doing this. I have a task of uploading the images, like GIFS,JPEG onto the server thru my backend program & later i will be displaying this image in my front-end screens. please suggest me how i should go about. let me know.
