I'd like to know if we'll ever be able to draw to a Swing component directly from C code (to obtain a higher level of performance)? I thought I heard rumors that this would be possible in some coming release and if true I would like to have more information on being able to do this. I'm currently using both 1.2.2 and the 1.3beta.
