Not really. ScrollPanes (at least, last year when I was trying to use them, which I'm
not anymore
because I rolled my own out of frustration with the flickering) have a nasty habit of
clearing
themselves if you scroll both horizontally and vertically at the same time, which you
can do
programmatically, because the exposed region is a thin vertical rectangle and a thin
horizontal
rectangle whose combined bounding box is the whole panel. The Swing version is bad
because it doesnt
(last time I checked) BitBlt, but rather repaints the whole thing.
