Not to be rude but it is rather pointless to go fishing like this for "Numerical
Recipes in Java" as if there was no official web site to answer the question
(and this mailing list is unrelated anyway). The authors have made clear before
that they would not allow uncontrolled use of their trademark and copyright and
that new software versions will either be released by them or not at all: this
ain't freeware. So, go to the official NR web site: http://www.nr.com/ and
carefully read the "Other Languages" page. There is no Java version. End of
story.
