This is the problem I'm having, I have a certain pixel height and would like to fit a string into this height.
That is, given a pixel height, and a Font Name, try my best to make this font fit the size.
The solution I had for this in JDK 1.1, was to precalculate a Hashtable of Fonts, I would iterate to say 100-300 sizes and using FontMetrics trying to save their height. But this is not working very well, specially when I go to other Unix platforms.
