[JAVA2D] Grayscale and IndexColorModel for 32 bit image

Hello,

Does IndexColorModel support TYPE_INT, TYPE_FLOAT, etc? If so, how do I
define the arrays for e.g. a grayscale specification so that 2^32 elements
are not required to be allocated?
