[JAVA2D] ClassCastException

Could someone possibly tell me why or how I might be getting a ClassCastException even though my code executes and functions without any problem.   When the cast is done in the execution, the exception is thrown, but everything works perfectly….I would like to figure out how to get rid of the exception…   Thanks for any help that can be provided.
