[JAVA2D] status bar

HI all,   I am trying to make a status bar for my Java2D application.  I would like it to be the typical small panel that resides at the bottom of most windows applications, however, I can’t seem to achieve that look.  Is there some kind of java class or function that creates that kind of status bar, or do I just have to use a jpanel and customize it.  If have already begun using just a regular jpanel, but any internal frames I have within the main frame always cover it up when dragged over it.  So if I must use the jpanel, how can I make it so that it is always on top and not covered up by any internframes that are dragged downward to the bottom of my main frame.  Any suggestions or hints would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.     David =========================================================================== To unsubscribe, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and include in the body of the message "signoff JAVA2D-INTEREST".
