Hi Chris, now I know in order to utilize full performance of Java2D/JOGL one should enabled Dsun.java2d.opengl=true. The DirectX pipeline is stable on Windows, how about the OpenGL pipeline? In common, Windows's support for OpenGL is not very good. My Sony Notebook only has OpenGL 1.3 support. Also, what does the phrase "pbuffer" mean? Anyway, thanks for the answers.
