Hi Alexey,

I don't seem to be able to repro it at the moment.  I have a copy of b90-debug Mustang, and so far it is holding up - same thing with java 5.  Will post again if I see the issue once more, hopefully with debug mustang.

This issue has been mentioned elsewhere on the web (google "glibc detected  munmap_chunk") not in connection with java, e.g.
    http://club.cdfreaks.com/showthread.php?t=164525
seems the app may have some memory management issue that is picked up by newer glibc - FC5 latest is 2.4-8.

Hello Russell,

It's very likely unknown issue. Could you please provide us with
testcase or point out to the applications that could be used for
demonstrating the problem.

Best Regards,
Alexey

I'm seeing this very occasionally on Fedora Linux, using JDK 1.5.0_07,
after a relatively recent update by Fedora. Is it a known issue? It
seems to crop up when doing a lot of screen redraws, and several
threads are running. Normally, things work fine....
