  OK, you have an Intel chip. The d3d pipeline is
  disabled for all Intel boards so the regression
  is probably not related to the d3d changes in this

I'll try to install b21 tomorrow and run with that d3d flag.

  The flag won't do anything because the d3d pipeline isn't enabled
  on your system anyway.

  BTW, you can save the current build (just copy the jdk dir
  somewhere) before reinstalling, so that you can compare them
  side by side.

  We'll try your benchmark inhouse as well.
