Instructions for obtaining latest source code:

(1) You can now access cvsweb with your standard web browser. Simply point
your browser to the X3D Open Source CVSWEB service:
http://www.web3d.org/TaskGroups/x3d/cvsweb/cvsweb.cgi

(2) For regular cvs clients, set the environment variable
CVSROOT=:pserver:[EMAIL PROTECTED]:/disk2/source/cvs
Issue the command: cvs -d $CVSROOT login
Reply with 123456. This only has to be done once per server.
Issue the command: cvs checkout x3d

NCSA Portfolio has VERY limited support for VRML. Currently the Xj3D library
is the best, however it's still very limited, e.g. no support for SFImage,
ECMAScript, and it has a lot of bugs. I'm enhancing it but my progress is
turtle-slow. As pointed out by a previous thread "Java3D issues" in the
mailing list, Xj3D is a proof of concept, definitely not of production
quality.
