Hi All I have a visual object with a surface as well as wireframe appearance. I understand that a certain minimum value needs to be provided for the method setPoygonOffset() so as to be able to visualize the wireframe overlaid on the surface. Would someone please tell me what is an optimal value to provide for setPolygonOffset method ? What I find is that the value that is needed for getting the right appearance in perspective mode is different from the one needed for parallel view. This could make things a wee bit too difficult when one has to switch modes between different projection types.Has anyone ran into this issue ? Another interesting thing that I noticed was that, beyond a certain threshold offset value, in the parallel mode, hidden lines do not neccessarily remain hidden. No such problems, however, in the perspective mode. Any help would be very welcome Raj, PhD _________________________________________________________________________ Get Your Private, Free E-mail from MSN Hotmail at http://www.hotmail.com. =========================================================================== To unsubscribe, send email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] and include in the body of the message "signoff JAVA3D-INTEREST".
