I think that It would be a great idea support alternates downloads than CVS.

We have a firewall and can't use some ports (cvs port for example)

In particular, as a Windows user you will probably want to have a look
at software called WinCVS as this presents a nice graphical front end.

As for the not clear bit, I'll fix that up!
