Hi,

I had this same problem a while back.  It turned out that the OpenGL
drivers for my video card where old, and simply updating them fixed the
problem.  My card is a 4MB STB Riva 128, and I was running Java3D
Alpha3/Beta1 and JDK1.2 Beta4 at the time.  You should be able to find some
other ideas and help in the list archives (that's how I got the help to get
my problems fixed back then).
