Hi Erdal,

The problem I had was that I didn't have C:\jdk1.2\bin\ at the *BEGINNING* of my
path.
On my system -- for some reason -- I have two Path/PATH variables with Path
prepended
to my PATH variable which I had set correctly to C:\jdk1.2\bin\.  I added
C:\jdk1.2\bin to the
beginning of my Path variable and now both applets and applications work just
fine.

Environment: NT 4.0 SP3; STB Velocity128 (nVidia RIVA)  PII 266 and I get good
performance.
