FakeSpace (http://www.fakespace.com/) has Java3D drivers for their
3D hardware. The biggest problem with Cave/ImmersaDesk/... are the
cost of the hardware/CPU needed to drive large scale simulations.
Bang will support Fakespace hardware in the next release slated for 1. April.
Hooking up Linux boxes (even old ones) with parallel multi-tasking and Java3D
would be a really cheap solution for driving Cave like hardware.
