I want to use Parallel Projections to avoid the distortion of close-up shapes that occurs with a perspective projection. (I don't want the realism of perspective projections) Yet, I've noticed a couple of problems when I turn it on. The most notable is that any straightforward picking is miscalculated. The screen end of the pick ray seems to be off by some amount which depends on the distance you are from the center of the canvas. (I can pick some shapes, but only by hunting around for the spot where it thinks the pick ray intersects.) Is this a known bug, or is there a workaround? (One workaround I can think of is to put all shapes way off in the distance and scale them to make up for that distance. This would avoid most of the distortion with perspective projections.) ===================================================================== To subscribe/unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Java 3D Home Page: http://java.sun.com/products/java-media/3D/
