I have just 'managed' to upgrade my old Toshiba laptop (P200) to a nice new
4030CDS 300mhz Celeron(With Cache..)
(Give yours a glass of wine and see what the insurance man says...)
Aaanyway, I was eager to continue with my Java3D exploits...
I have discovered that the new lapton came with a different graphics
card, the Trident Cyber9525 AGP/PCI w98.22 card
I have discovered running the diretxbeta 1.1.1 java3d that I have
missing polygons / artifacts appearing with certain window sizes /
window display getting garbled etc.. etcc
I was wondering if anyone has come across similar problems and wether
they had managed to overcome them??
I have tried looking for new drivers, (Mine are from 22/12/98) but can
only find drivers from 18/12/98
I am restricetd in internet sites I can visit by my free net connection
(Only .de domains, or sites mirrored by my ISP - Extremely selective
mirroring wich doesnt make sense. I can get here for a start, but not
some .de dpmains... Hmm)
Any help much appreciated.
