I find that it's so easy to find bugs from the exception (type and message)
coupled with a stack trace and in a pinch a few print statements. HOWEVER,
it's frustrating that I just bought JBuilder 2 like a month before JBuilder3
came out. I had no idea. There are a few quirks that I'm hoping will be gone
in version 3.

You can't debug jdk1.2 using JBuilder 2. I have most of my JBuilder projects
set up so that I can switch between jdk1.1 and jdk1.2. I switch to jdk1.1
when
I want to debug. JBuilder 3 is being advertised as supporting debugging of
jdk1.2.
