I have a wave ( ocean wave ) consisting of a QuadArray. In different
simulations it is a variety of sizes. The problem is that when I rotate the
wave outside of about 30 degrees of its end to end alignment, the entire
wave disappears. I have tried:
1. adjusting the size of the bounding sphere that governs the rotate
behavior. This seems to have the effect of extending the limits of
visibility (out to about 50 degrees either side) but it is upredictable and
intermittent, I'm not sure why.
2. adjusting the BackClipDistance in View. This ( as I expected) had no
effect. The whole wave disappears, not just a portion of it.
3. adjusting the normals, several different normals calculations were
tried. All had the same effect - no change.
I'm stumped. Any ideas??
