Well, well. I have exactly the same problem. The best solution i have
come up with is the utility at the following address:
http://www.3dcafe.com/asp/software.asp#MISC There, look for
wc2pov27.zip. Actually this is the best converter i managed to find in
the whole Internet. It supports both .3ds and .obj. Unfortunatelly u
can't save file in .3ds format. But in the rest it's just great (u'll
figure out everything by yourself. It's very easy to master).
