I guess there isn't such a problem as y2k compliance in Java (since the
time there is counted from 1970 - i wonder why...). Thus, there isnt'
such a problem in Java3D either (in its Java part, at least). So,
possibly the only thing that is left to figure out is Y2K status of
OpenGL and DirectX libraries.
