Tria,

1. Dynamically remove from its parent Group
2. Move outside visible region (Hhhm)
3. Collapse the geometry to a point (Hhhhhm)
4. Make completely transparent (Hhhhhm)
5. Reparent to an "invisible" Group
6. Change surface CULLING to cull (remove) all surfaces
7. Add to a Switch Node and use the Switch to control visibility
8. Move inside a static, permanently visible, object.

... there are probably more, anyone? ;-)

Numbers 1 or 7 are probably what you want.

Best of luck,

Daniel Selman
