Hi,

U can use Sphere object with attributes:
Sphere.GENERATE_NORMALS|Sphere.GENERATE_TEXTURE_COORDS. Then u use a
TextureLoader object to load a *.jpg or *.gif (not *.bmp). Finish by using:
Appearance.setTexture(TextureLoader.getTexture().
