Unfortunately no. But yes, a lot of people would like to do this so they
could have movies in the 3D world. I'm sure it's high on the J3D teams
request list, just its a little bit complex to implement (Both use and
expect native renderers that render straight to screen. JMF would need
to implement some lightweight renderer that J3D then used to blat
textures to the object with. Not trivial considering that the
heavyweight stuff typically uses hardware accelaration)


Reminder to self: Must add this as a FAQ item because it seems to come
up regularly...
