Hello, on my linux system I have installed the blackdown jdk 1.2 in /usr/jdk1.2 . I have an ELSA Erazor 3 video card and i am using the Mesa/GLX/Nvidia extension to get hardware acceleration for three-dimensional graphics (the whole installation worked fairly well with SuSe Linux 6.2 and the installation notes in their online support, the examples I tried were running smooth in fullscreen). Afterwards I installed the java3d from blackdown in the jdk1.2 folder. But the 3d demos do not work, there is some problem with a native call from libJ3D or so (sorry, actually I am not connected to the internet at home, so I haven`t the exact error message. If it is needed for solving the problem, I will post it tomorrow). I think that java3d does not find the 3d libs. Is someone out there who has solved this problem?
