Thank you for your answer.
I managed to put my image in the background, but what I'm trying to do is to
"replicate" this image so as it covers the whole background.

Do you have an idea of how I could do that ?

Thanks again,

Regards,

Benedicte

1) you need to set the back (far) clipping plane: that value will depend on
how many units from the viewer you want to see.
2) you should look for the Background nod component, it has a way of setting
an image as the background.

Subject: [JAVA3D] Java3D Background

Hello,

I have two questions concerning Java3D backgrounds.

- first, I would like to know how I can change the position of the
background (in my application, objects disappear when I move them back, I
would like to move the background back too).

- second, I would like to map a texture to my background with an image. Is
there a way to "repeat" this image on the whole bakground ?

Thanks a lot for your help,

Regards,

Benedicte
