Hi Phil,
Java2 Runtime Version 1.3 (Java-Plug-in) provides a mechanism to
automatically install additional packages like Java3D on the fly. Once
installed they will stay available.
The user only needs a Browser which supports Java2 and this mechanism or the
Java2 Plug-in Version 1.3.
