Yeah Logan, sure, im working on an information visualization project
for navegation throught libraries classifications (Ex. L of Congress, Dewey,
yourself, etc...). We are interested about students use the new system.
On the other hand our University have been one of the first sunray's
customer institutions (Universidad de las Americas:
http://www.sun.com/products/sunray1/customers.html) and for that reason i
want to prove it. Unfortunately UDLA will be reopen until next monday so we
must wait :(.

About the specifications, java3d requirements say:
Sparc system with a frame buffer that supports OpenGL
(e.g. Elite3D, Creator3D, Creator, TGX, GX, SX, ZX)

im not a Sparc guru but desktop specifications java3d
UltraSparc use TurboGX graphics (TGX)
SparcStation use S24 graphics (SX ?)
Sunray 1 24-bit, 2D acceleration, up to 1280 x 1024 @ 85 Hz ( ????)

See you !!
