No, the trick is the way the video card supports OpenGL. It was posted here that Java3D makes "standard" OpenGL calls.
One card that supports OpenGL in this way is E&S AccelGalaxy and E&S Tornado(will see soon). We bought an AccelGalaxy
and it worked fine except that there were some problems with the way it was drawing. I contacted E&S and they gave me the
latest driver which fixed all the drawing problems and everything works including stereo with CrystallEyes.
