Jay,

Do you use multiple "Views" in the Java 3D sense? I have a strange problem
with disappearing QuadArrays when I use multiple Views (in my case 3). The
long and short of it is that the QuadArrays disappear in the 2nd and 3rd
View if the 0,0,0 point is not visible in the View.

I reported this issue to SUN months ago (including submitting the example,
twice) but have not heard anything. In my case I replaced the QuadArrays
with ColorCubes and the ColorCubes stay put, so the two issues do sound
related. Someone else on the list also confirmed this.

IMO there are some overly aggressive "optimizations" that do not properly
take into account multiple Views.

Sorry I can't suggest a workaround... if you find one let me know!

Sincerely,

Daniel Selman
