Following the numerous [ none :-( ] answers to my call for help, and should someone ever face the same problem: PickObject pick methods are still enable to detect the pick of a unique line segment. ->can be understandable, but a warning in the javadoc would be welcome What I have done is using a pickshape to get the picked item as per following segment of code.
