I guess the problem is not in the Kawa editor, but rather in Java3D.
Try to run the demo outside the Kawa, but there shouldn't be any
difference. I think u should try to run HelloUniverse example shipped
together with J3D, SDK version. If u succeed, then run other, more
sophisticated demos from the same package (especially the ones that
use textures). But wanna say beforehand, if u r going seriously 4
Java3D, install another card (smth with 8Mb+ would do fine for the
first time). And preferably with OpenGL accelerator (such cards as ATI
Rage128, Riva TNT/TNT2).
