I have found the same: strange behaviour but not new: was already there in
1.1.3

It used to be only necessary to set the pickable false at the top of a
branch , now it seems it is not enough and you need to set it to false at
all levels of the branch looks like only the immediate children are affected
Am I confused/confusing??
