1. try:

jdk1_2_2-linux-i386-i386.tar.gz thats from
sunjava3d1_1_3-RC1-linux-sdk.tar from blackdown

2. try:
jdk-1.2.2-RC4-linux-i386-glibc-2.1.2.sh* from blackdown
java3d1_1_3-RC1-linux-sdk.tar from blackdown

I tried 1 hour ago the mail from Ingo
and I got the result xf86-3.3.6-0

When I try rpm -q x86 now, I'll get Package x86 is not installed
When I try rpm -q Xfree86 I'll get Package Xfree86 is not installed

how can that be, I dont know what changed in the meantime.

I have
MesaDemos-3.1.tar.gz and MesaLib-3.1.tar
what is a rpm package?

Please note that

I did not thought about that, I do have a jdk1.2.2 directory in which all
the java3D is in, I do not have a jdk1.2.
