No, at least not with JRE1.3. And i actually doubt Java3D would be
ever shipped together with JRE, since it IS an extension, like Java
Spaces or whatever. As to browsers, NN6.0 would be packed with JRE1.3
(and, naturally, with Plug-in). Currently, NN6.0 PR1 is shipped
together with JRE1.3RC (1 or 2 - can't recall). As to extensions, JRE1.3 would
support more flags in manifest file. Some of them would provide
automatic installation of different extensions (including the ones
that are wrapped in native installers - see my posting on this topic
around 2 weeks ago). Unfortunately, these flags are not fully
supported right now (JRE1.3RC2). Hopefully, they will in final
release.

PS: i guess next version of IE would also be shipped if not with Sun's
Java2 Platform, then with a compatible platform of their own
(from Microsoft)

Microsoft or Netscape will be packaging that JRE into their browsers?
