Spent last night trawling through the session/BOF lists and came to a
horrible conclusion - there's almost nothing on J3D! A couple of the
usual annoying "Here's my project and we use XYZ" things, but nothing
that qualifies as a decent BOF were we can get together and verbally
abuse the crap out of each other - rather than the flaming emails :)
Anyway, what's the story? I'm really disappointed that there's nothing
there at all. There's not even a session/tutorial on "Intro to Java 3D"
What's happened to Dave Nadeau who normally does this sort of stuff?
Also missing is something along the lines of J3D Future Plans (ie, what
can we expect from v1.3) etc etc. Because we're not Jini or J2EE, have
we fallen off the Favourites bandwagon. :(
Personally I'd like to see a couple there and would be interested in
organising something if there is enough interest. Never done it before,
so where do I find out the information/proposal forms etc.

"Look through the lens, and the light breaks down into many lights.
Turn it or move it, and a new set of arrangements appears... is it
a single light or many lights, lights that one must know how to
distinguish, recognise and appreciate? Is it one light with many
frames or one frame for many lights?" -Subcomandante Marcos
